On 8 June 2022, Chinese Consul General Ma Qiang went north to visit the Kinross-based Todd & Duncan, the world's famous producer of cashmere yarn. Iain Cormack, Managing Director of the Scottish spinner, was kind enough to offer an interesting and informative site tour.
Founded in 1867, Todd & Duncan is now owned by Chinese parent company Zhejiang Xin'ao Textiles. It provides over 200 jobs in local areas.
